Le 12 Regole di Comportamento .::. The twelve Rules of Behaviour

1. Rispetto per gli altri
Ogni sciatore deve comportarsi in modo da non mettere in pericolo la persona altrui o provocare danni

2. Padronanza della velocità e del comportamento
Ogni sciatore deve tenere una velocità e un comportamento adeguati alla propria capacità nonche alle condizioni generali e del tempo

3. Scelta della direzione

Lo sciatore a monte il quale, per la posizione dominante, ha la possibilità di scelta del percorso, deve tenere una direzione che eviti il pericolo di collisione con lo sciatore a valle

4. Sorpasso
Il sorpasso può essere effettuato tanto a monte quanto a valle, sulla destra o sulla sinistra, ma sempre a una distanza tale da consentire le evoluzioni dello sciatore sorpassato

5. Attraversamento e incrocio
Lo sciatore, che si immette su una pista o attraversa un terreno di esercitazione, deve assicurarsi, mediante controllo visivo a monte e a valle, di poterlo fare senza pericolo per se e per gli altri. Lo stesso comportamento deve esse­re tenuto dopo ogni sosta

6. Sosta
Lo sciatore deve evirare di fermarsi, se non in caso di assoluta necessità sulle piste ed in specie nei passaggi obbligati o senza visibilità In caso di caduta lo sciatore deve sgomberare la pista al più presto possibile

7. Salite
Lo sciatore che risale la pista deve procedere soltanto ai bordi di essa ed è tenuto a discostarsene in caso di cattiva visibilità. Lo stesso comportamento deve tenere lo sciatore che discende a piedi la pista

8. Rispetto della segnaletica
Tutti gli sciatori devono rispettare la segnaletica della pista

9. In caso di incidente
Chiunque deve prestarsi per il soccorso in caso di incidente

10. Identificazione
Chiunque sia coinvolto in un incidente o ne sia testimone è tenuto a dare le proprie generalità

11. Spazio minimo per sorpasso da bordo pista
E' buona norma che lo sciatore non curvi sul bordo della pista, ma lasci sempre uno spazio sufficiente per agevolare il suo sorpasso

12. Traiettorie
Bisogna prestare attenzione alle traiettorie degli sciatori in considerazione del tipo di sci utilizzato, snowboard, telemark, carving fun

Skiers will do any efforts in order to prevent other people or things from getting damaged
2. Mastery of speed and behaviour
When skiing each single person will behave in such a way that is fit to his/her OWn skill and suitable for the weather conditionS; he/she willlimit his/her speed accordingly
3. Choice of direction
Uphill skiers who thanks to their favourable location have the opportunity of choosing their direction, shall follow the direction which can be considered as the safest for downhill skiers and shall prevent any danger of collision
4. Overtake
Skiers can pass when they are either to the right or to the left but they will always keep to such a distance as to alloW the other skiers to perform their evolutions
5. Crossing
When entering or crossing a slope or training Court, skiers will make sure that they are not jeopardizing their own or other people's safety, by carefully looking around, uphill and downhill. They will do the same before stopping
6. Halt
Skiers will not Stop on Slope or in proximity to obligatory way with poor visibility, unless there is absolute need for it. In the case of a skier falling, he/she willleave the ski-slope as soon as she/he can
7. Ctimbing
When climbing a ski slope skiers will keep at slope­edge; they will not climb a slope in the case of poor visibility. They will do the same when descending a slope on foot
8. Observance of slope signs
Skiers will respect the signs on the slopes
9. Accidents
In the case of accidents, anybody will make him­self /herself useful and come to aid
10. Identification
Anyone involved in or witnessing an accident will give him/her name and address and personal particulars
11. Minimum passing space near the edge of the ski slope
It is advisable that the skier steers away from the edge of the ski slope leaving enough room So that he/she can be passed dothleft and right
12. Trajectories
One needs to be aware of other skiers' trajec­tories with particular regard to their type of skiing aquipment (snowboard, telemark, fun carving, etc.
